September 2025 - Isograph are pleased to announce the release of Reliability Workbench 16.0.
Reliability Workbench
1. Users may now select a show page navigator option in application options (preferences tab). If selected users can page down using a new symbol shown alongside gates in the diagram (with the page flag set).
2. Users may now opt to clear the add mode automatically when editing diagrams and adding an object. The option is in the Application Options dialog (preferences tab).
3. The RBD to Fault Tree conversion facility now removes cascading OR gates to provide a more compact fault tree structure. Repeated gates or events underneath the same gate are also removed.
4. A LATENT failure model has been added to the failure model list (FT and RBD analysis) Latent models require a failure rate and test interval to be defined. They calculate the mean unavailability for two or three dependent latent events. For two latent events: Model assumes that a repair is performed at if both components fail or the test interval is reached. For three failures a repair is performed if three components fail or the test interval is reached.
5. There is now a project option to enable users to choose ‘Route 2H’ to be applied when determining IEC61508 HFT values. A validation warning is also given if the user chooses Route 2H for a type B failure model with coverage < 60%.
6. Users may now choose between staggered or non-staggered testing for the ‘Alpha’ CCF failure model.
7. Non-operating temperatures (Siemens standard) may now be modified globally using the Special Functions menu.
8. A clear add mode toolbar option has been added to the FMECA module for diagram editing.
9. Apportioned modes may now be assigned to the selected block rather than creating a new child block. A new check box has been added to the apportionment selection dialog to facilitate this.
10. RBD model verification now identifies the input and output objects that violate the requirement to have a single input and output for each page.
11. The Maximum Likelihood Estimate method has been added to the WeibullSet options.
12. Confidence contour plots and confidence bounds methods have now been added to the Weibull module.
13. The EPRD 2024 parts library has now been added.
14. Chinese and other double-length character languages now have their descriptions recorded correctly in the user parts and user part groups tables of the parts library after import.
Reporting
1. Find Next and Find Previous menu buttons have been added to the print preview toolbars to allow users to search for text in text column reports. The report must be in print preview mode to be searched.
